Description
The DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order is a practical tool to clearly indicate that you do not wish to be resuscitated under any circumstances. The tag is made of stainless steel (diameter: 30mm).
On the front of the tag, the directive “DO NOT RESUSCITATE” is engraved in uppercase letters. Below that, your name, date of birth, photo or passport photo, and signature are also engraved.
The back of the tag reads: “I forbid any form of resuscitation on me under any circumstances.” and DNR (Do Not Resuscitate).
Since the tag is engraved on both sides, the DNR directive remains visible at all times, even if the tag accidentally flips over, for example, during a fall.
How is the Tag Engraved?
Both the information on the tag and the photo are engraved in black and white. You can submit the photo or passport photo in color; we will process it accordingly.
Chain Length
When selecting the chain length for your Wearable ADRT, you have two options:
- 18 inch chain with a 2 inch extension chain (20 inch total)
- 26 inch chain with a 2 inch extension chain (28 inch total)
The 20 inch chain sits around the base of the neck.
The 28 inch chain rests in the middle of the chest or just below it.
The advantage of the longer chain is that it can be worn under your clothing. It can also be easily slipped on and off over the head without needing to open the clasp—especially convenient when showering or sleeping.
If you’re unsure which chain length is best for you, we recommend choosing the longer 28 inch option. You’ll then receive both chain lengths (both the 20 inch + the 28 inch chain), so you can try them at home and decide which fits you best.
